DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-April 6
High Value SF
Jae Crowder-Boston Celtics (5,800): After missing a few weeks with a high ankle sprain, Crowder has returned in great form for the C’s posting 34.5 fantasy points against the Blazers and 44.25 fantasy points against the Lakers in his first two games back. He should have the opportunity to continue to ease back in in favorable matchups as he takes on the Pelicans in Boston tonight. ∗∗∗∗
Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,600): Morris crashed back to earth last night in Miami managing just a single point and finishing with 10 fantasy points after turning the ball over six times agains the Heat. He had run off six games with at least 15 points in his previous seven contests with 28 fantasy points or more in each of those seven. He needs to bounce back tonight as the Pistons face Orlando in a game they can’t afford to let slip away. When Morris and the Pistons face Orlando two weeks ago he had 30 fantasy points on 15 points, five boards, and four assists. ∗∗∗
Otto Porter-Washington Wizards (5,300): Porter has been a reliable pick for 20-30 fantasy points since returning from his injury and getting back to a full workload for Washington. He should be able to get 30 tonight against the Nets and their iffy defense which makes him a solid, low-risk play at under 6K. ∗∗∗
Michael Beasley-Houston Rockets (5,200): Beasley has higher upside than Porter, but he’s much higher risk as well especially after playing just nine minutes on Sunday against the Thunder. He had at least 31 fantasy points in three of his four games before that 12.5 fantasy-point letdown. He’s playing better and more minutes on most nights than Donatas Motiejunas, and tonight against the Mavericks he’ll need to bring his A-game if the Rockets are going to pull even with Dallas in the race for the playoffs.∗∗
Luke Babbitt-New Orleans Pelicans (4,700): Babbitt is getting all the minutes he can handle for New Orleans due to the outbreak of injuries on the Pelicans’ wings. He has played at least 30 minutes in each of his last three games and has at least 30 fantasy points in each of those three contests. Tonight, he’ll face the Celtics who have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to SF in their last five games. Since there aren’t many other sources of offense, Babbitt is still a steal at just 5K.∗∗∗∗∗
Maurice Harkless-Portland Trail Blazers (4,100): Harkless was a beast last night going off for 20 points and 16 boards against the Kings to total 48.5 fantasy points. He has been stepping up in a big way for Portland since joining the starting lineup as a small-ball PF. Harkless has at least 24 fantasy points in six of his eight games since joining the lineups, and he is a great option tonight against the Thunder despite the fact that Ibaka/Adams up front give OKC a distinct size advantage. Harkless should keep getting a ton of playing time especially now with Meyers Leonard out for the season. ∗∗∗∗∗
Jeff Green-Los Angeles Clippers (4,000): Green cleaned up in garbage time last night finishing with 21 points against the Lakers and adding some solid non-scoring numbers to get to 31.75 fantasy points. He logs plenty of minutes when the game gets out of hand, and even if he’s coming off the bench he’s a solid cheap play tonight. ∗∗∗
