High Salary C

Nikola Vucevic-Orlando Magic (8,000): Vucevic looked back to full strength on Sunday against Memphis beating up the beleaguered Grizzlies for 25 points and ten boards for a total of 44.5 fantasy points in just his third game back from a groin injury.  He has at least 33 fantasy points in all three of his games since returning but the 32 minutes was a nice number for him to get to. Tonight, he takes on the Pistons for just the second time this season since he was injured for their recent meeting. He will have to deal with Andre Drummond on the defensive end, but he should be able to play his full minutes and post another good number.  He’s not exactly low-risk at this price, but he’s a solid investment give how he looked on Sunday.

Andre Drummond-Detroit Pistons (8,000): Drummond destroyed the Magic while Vucevic was out going for 30 points and 14 rebounds for 51.3 fantasy points. He hasn’t matched that number in his six games since then, and only managed 12 points and 13 boards last night in Miami.  Drummond definitely has the potential to go off, but Detroit is leaning on him less heavily on the offensive end making him higher risk at this price.

Marcin Gortat-Washington Wizards (6,400): Gortat scored 21 points on Sunday against the Clippers and added seven rebounds to get to 29.9 fantasy points. He has at least 25 fantasy points in six of his last seven games and eight of his last ten. Tonight, he’ll be in a good matchup against the Nets who have shut down Brook Lopez which should create a good matchup for Gortat to attack.
