High Value PF

Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (5,700): Gordon’s emergence allowed the team to trade away Tobias Harris, and Gordon had a good game against Harris two weeks ago in Detroit finishing with 32.7 fantasy points on 15 points and 11 rebounds.  He has at least 26 fantasy points in five of his seven games dating back to that performance and has been a solid low-risk play for Orlando while emerging as a big part of their future as well.

Amir Johnson-Boston Celtics (4,600): Johnson has been a regular this year in my FanDuel daily picks since he has so much potential when he’s healthy.  He has at least 27 fantasy points in six of his last ten games after posting 29.6 fantasy points on Sunday in LA with ten points, 13 boards, and four assists.  He should be in a matchup he can dominate tonight against the Pelicans with the only risk being that the game gets non-competitive before his gets enough numbers to return value.

Clint Capela-Houston Rockets (4,200):  Very quietly, Capela has started putting up good numbers for the Rockets coming off the bench as the primary backup to Dwight Howard.  Capela has at least 20 fantasy points in five of his last six games and is coming off a game where he plays 23 minutes and finished with nine points, six boards, and four blocks.  When he gets the playing time, he can definitely produce fantasy points, but his role is still very fluid from game-to-game with Houston. ∗∗

Frank Kaminsky-Charlotte Hornets (3,500): If you’re looking for an ultra-cheap PF play for tonight check out “Frank the Tank” who played 30 minutes last night in Toronto and finished with just under 20 fantasy points. He had nine points and six boards in his extended run and has shown he can produce when given the opportunity. As the Hornets play for the second night in a row, Kaminsky should log over 20 minutes again and should be able to produce around 20 fantasy points.
