player. 100.
The Pacers need some depth on the wing and Korkmaz is a potential “3-and-D”, two-way option. At 6-7, Korkmaz has the frame to play the position in the NBA, but because he’s still 18 years old, he needs to fill out that frame in order to compete physically with the league’s larger players.

Korkmaz made 46.8 percent of his 77 three-point attempts across all competitions this season. He attempted nearly two threes per game, which is a solid number given that he’s only averaging 12.2 minutes. Korkmaz is a good passer in the half court, which will make him a more versatile threat off the bounce and help him beat opposing defenders who are closing out on him on the perimeter in the NBA. Korkmaz isn’t yet a good defender, but he has the tools to get there. Currently, though, he fails to regularly get into a defensive stance and doesn’t play with the aggressiveness that you’d like. Still, because he’s so young, Korkmaz is a worthy selection in the middle of the first round because of the potential he has to develop into a solid rotation player for the Pacers.
