No. 5 – People forget Johnny Manziel is a decent quarterback

Manziel rode the bench for much of his two seasons with the Browns, starting just eight of the team’s 32 regular season games over that span. Five of those starts were at the end of the year when the team had given up after being knocked out of the playoff race long before.

When Manziel got a chance to take the field, he made things happen and kept the Browns in the game for several of those contests. He had two touchdown passes in his first start of the 2015 season against Tennessee and led the Browns to two of the team’s three victories during the season. All of that was with a  group of players in Cleveland that, more than likely, wouldn’t crack many other starting lineups in the NFL.

Imagine would someone with Manziel’s ability could do with an offensive line that actually blocks…or receivers that actually catch the ball…or a defense that can actually stop the opposing offense so he doesn’t have to be quarterbacking from behind so much! I’m not guaranteeing a return to the Super Bowl, but Manziel’s ability would be an asset to Denver this season.
