5 reasons why the Denver Broncos should sign Johnny Manziel

No. 3 – Denver has a Texas A&M connection to bond with Johnny Manziel
For years, the Texas A&M Aggies have lived with an inferiority complex when it came to their home state in college football, sitting behind the former rival Texas Longhorns when it came to attention and admiration in the Lone Star State.
The last four years have been much better for the Aggies, as their move to the SEC has been a financial success to go along with Texas being bad. Manziel’s Heisman Trophy win gave them a sense of pride and put the school back on the map. At the same time, the Broncos became College Station North last season thanks to two very important alumni.
Head coach Gary Kubiak was helped by linebacker and Super Bowl MVP Von Miller to bring a title back to the Mile High City. Miller has been vocal in his support of Manziel, and it wouldn’t be a bad thing for the quarterback to have some familiar faces with similar college backgrounds if he is starting over in a new city. Plus, Kubiak is a former Texas A&M quarterback like Manziel.
Not saying it will solve all the problems, but you have to think when someone openly supports you, they are going to look out for your best interest and have your back.
