High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (8,900): Towns is putting the finishing touches on an incredibly impressive rookie campaign. He has at least 40 fantasy points in seven of his last ten games including each of his last two contests.  He had 20 points, 12 boards, four assists, and two blocks against the Warriors on Tuesday for a solid 42.4 fantasy points, and he had an even more impressive game against the Mavericks on Sunday when he hauled in 21 rebounds and added 11 points and nine assists to go with three blocks and a steal on his way to 51.7 fantasy points. Towns should be set for a fun matchup with Boogie Cousins and Willie Cauley-Stein tonight, and as long as the two games with 44+ minutes don’t make fatigue too much of a factor I expect another big night out of Towns tonight. When he faced the Kings two weeks ago, he had 26 points and 11 rebounds in just 29 minutes, but that was also with Cousins on the sidelines while serving a suspension.

Pau Gasol-Chicago Bulls (8,400): Gasol has five double-doubles in his last six games and is doing all he can to help the Bulls hang on to their evaporating playoff chances.  He has at least 39 fantasy points in each of his last three games  and posted 17 points, ten boards, and four blocks in the teams loss to the Grizz on Tuesday. Gasol could catch a nice break tonight if Hassan Whiteside is unable to play for Miami (gametime decision) since that would leave the Heat extremely thin at center and playing Amar’e Stoudemire for as long as he could handle which should be a great matchup for Gasol to attack. No Whiteside-∗ With Whiteside-

Jonas Valanciunas-Toronto Raptors (6,200): Valanciunas has at least 25 fantasy points in six of his last seven contests and has four double-doubles during that span.  He also has added better block numbers lately with multiple blocks in each of his last three games. He had 19 points and nine boards against the Hawks last Wednesday, and he’s a solid pickup as a midrange center tonight as he faces Atlanta again.
