High Salary PG

Stephen Curry-Golden State Warriors (10,500): Curry has been red hot from a fantasy perspective in his last two games even though he struggled a bit with his shot against the T-Wolves.  He finished his 43 minutes in the Warriors’ OT loss with 21 points, 15 assists, six boards, and three steals for a solid 53.7 fantasy points. He has at least 50 fantasy points in each of his last two games and in four of his last eight.  Of all the stars in the late game, Curry is probably the safest because I think its unlikely the Warriors choose to rest him at home against a team that did limit him the last time they met. While I don’t see Curry as a “must-play” tonight based on how effective the Spurs were against him, he is a fairly safe way to spend your money if you have 10.5K to drop on a big-name PG.

Rajon Rondo-Sacramento Kings (7,900): Rondo has rested for the last two road games Sacramento has played, but when he has been on the floor he has put up some sick fantasy production.  On Tuesday, Rondo showed off with a massive triple-double of 27 points, ten boards, and 12 assists for 59 fantasy points in 42 minutes against the Blazers.  If he gets a similar workload tonight against the Timberwolves, Rondo will end up being a great deal. Minnesota has allowed the third-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG this season and gave up 52.6 fantasy points to Rondo when the Kings visited Minnesota back on March 23. Make sure there isn’t any news of Rondo resting, and then play him with confidence for tonight.

Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (6,700): Miami continues its strong playoff push tonight as they face the Bulls who are quickly falling out of the race for the final spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs. Dragic has thrived in his previous meetings with Chicago averaging 21.5 points and 10.0 assists. He has at least 28 fantasy points in four of his last five games and in seven of his last nine.  He should be able to get to at least 30 fantasy points tonight in this favorable matchup as the Heat welcome in D-Rose and the Bulls.
