High Value PG

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (5,800): Part of Rondo’s big game on Tuesday was the Darren Collison was given the night off.  Before he sat that game out, Collison had at least 26.9 fantasy points in five straight games although some of those were when Rondo was resting.  With Seth Curry stepping up at SG Collison will likely return to his role coming off the bench as the sixth-man and backup at both guard positions tonight which is enough to give him a look since he should get minutes against the beatable backcourt of the Timberwolves.

Patrick Beverley-Houston Rockets (5,200): Beverley is a boom-or-bust option tonight against the Suns as the Rockets try to bounce back from a tough loss last night in Dallas.  Beverley played 29 minutes and finished with just 19.5 fantasy points last night but he did have over 30 fantasy points in three of four games last week before posted 17.4 and that 19.5 fantasy points in his last two.  Beverley is in a great matchup against the Suns tonight who allow the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PG.  In their last meeting, Beverley had 19 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals, and he will be a good value if he can approach those stats again tonight.∗∗

Cory Joseph-Toronto Raptors (3,800): With the Raptors pretty much locked in as the #2 seed in the East, Joseph has gotten some extra minutes coming off the bench behind DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry in his last few games and has made the most of it with double-digit scoring and over 20 fantasy points in each of his last two contests.  If the Raptors decide to rest tonight in Atlanta or if the starters play fewer than their usual minutes, CoJo could be in a place to deliver great value from under 4K. If not starting-

Ronnie Price-Phoenix Suns (3,600): He’s baaaaaack! After a stretch earlier this season when he was a cheap play in my Fanduel daily picks almost every day, Price disappeared for a while when Brandon Knight returned, but with Knight’s latest injury, Price is getting big minutes as the starting PG once again in Phoenix. Price posted 24.6 fantasy points on Tuesday in Atlanta and has over 21 fantasy points in three of his last five games.  His shot can be a little streaky making him  high-risk, but he is a cheap option lined up for a pile of playing time.
