High Salary SG

James Harden-Houston Rockets (10,900): Harden led the Rockets attack in Dallas last night, but he ultimately ended up with less-than-great numbers totaling just 26 points, five boards, four assists, two blocks, and 38 fantasy points in Houston’s tough road loss. It was Harden’s first game in his last ten under 40 fantasy points and he had reached at least 59 fantasy points in four of his previous seven before the letdown last night.  He will need to bounce back right away since Houston can’t afford a hangover tonight as they come home and welcome in the Suns. Phoenix’s backcourt has been awful defensively all season, so look for Harden to bounce back with a big number tonight against Phoenix. Since the Rockets are fighting for their playoff lives, Harden will play as much as he needs to in order to give his team the W.

Jimmy Butler-Chicago Bulls (8,500): Butler was on everybody’s fantasy team as he and the Bulls faced Memphis oh Tuesday, but he disappeared as the Bulls lost a ridiculous game with Butler totaling just 12.8 fantasy points on five points, four boards, and two assists after he had at least 42 fantasy points in each of his previous three games while averaging 24.7 points, 10.0 rebounds, 8.7 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.3 blocks. Derrick Rose’s return and Butler’s fatigue probably played a role in the letdown, but he and the Bulls need a win in Miami if they want to keep their fading playoff hopes again. I do expect him to bounce back, but he’s not as sure a thing as Harden since Rose is expected to apply again tonight.

Devin Booker-Phoenix Suns (6,900): Booker had 34 points against the Hawks in the Suns last game on Tuesday and added five boards and two assists to total 45 fantasy points. He has at least 31 fantasy points in five of his last eight games and will again be the focus of the Suns’ attack now that Brandon Knight is out for the rest of the season.  Booker hasn’t had great numbers in either of his two games this season against the Rockets, but Houston is giving up the tenth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing SG giving reason for optimism that Booker should be able to produce tonight even though he may not get much help from the rest of the Suns ragtag lineup.
