High Salary PF

Draymond Green-Golden State Warriors (9,000): While Green and the Warriors may be “bored,” they should be keyed up for tonight’s game especially if the Spurs do indeed end up using their starters. Green had a down game against the T-Wolves with just 36.7 fantasy points after posting at least 49 fantasy points in four of his previous six contests. He is a spendy option, but its very unlikely that coach Steve Kerr would be able to get him to sit out a game, so look for him to play and play plenty of minutes tonight against the Spurs.  When the Spurs and Warriors last met, Green finished with 34.8 fantasy points on 11 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. The Spurs interior defense is pretty solid so I don’t love the matchup for Draymond tonight, but he’s a solid play at 9K tonight and is unlikely to rest.

Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (8,500): Millsap has been on a tear with at least 40 fantasy points in five of his last six games and over 50 fantasy points in each of his last two.  His worst game during that stretch, though, did come against the Raptors who he faces again tonight.  When Atlanta visiting Toronto, Millsap what held to just seven points, nine rebounds, there blocks, and two steals and only played 24 minutes. Since then, Millsap has demolished the Cavs and Suns for big nights, and he’ll look to post a much better line against a time the Hawks could end up meeting in the playoffs.

LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (8,300): Aldridge has been a FanDuel daily picks staple throughout much of the second half, but I think there’s definitely a risk that he gets “Popped” tonight and rested against the Warriors.  He did show he can beat up Golden State if he is on the floor scoring 26 points to go with 13 boards on his way to 41.6 fantasy points when the two teams met in mid-March.  My guess is he doesn’t play tonight, but if he’s confirmed “in” before rosters lock he’s an option worth considering. If confirmed in-∗ If status uncertain-too risky

Luol Deng-Miami Heat (6,300): Deng and the Heat host his former team as the Bulls come to Miami tonight. Since Miami acquired Joe Johnson and slid Deng to the PF spot in place of Chris Bosh, Deng has been putting up good numbers and has at least 31 fantasy points in four of his last six games.  Deng has produced across the board during that run and has posted good numbers against the Bulls so far this season.  Deng has averaged 33.3 minutes in his three games against Chicago with 16 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 2.0 steals.  He continues to be a solid midrange option and will be in a good enough matchup to make him a strong play tonight.
