No. 4 – Cleveland Cavaliers

It has been a drama in Northeast Ohio this season when it comes to coaching the Cavs, with David Blatt being shown the door despite having the best record in the Eastern Conference. His replacement, Tyronn Lue, has kept the winning going but seems to have lost the team’s star player, LeBron James, and may also be unemployed come the end of this season.

Auriemma has never backed away from a challenge during his time coaching the Huskies, winning nearly half of the last 26 national championships in the women’s college game. If anyone can get the Cavaliers (and the city of Cleveland) that championship that has avoided the city for decades, it is someone with winning in his blood.

An added bonus would be seeing what the coach would do if LeBron ever tried to get up and coach over Auriemma during a game (something James did to Lue just days ago and drew plenty of heat for it). There is part of me that thinks Auriemma would lose his mind and go off on LeBron, which would be some of the best television in a while for the NBA, so make it happen!
