No. 3 – Green Bay Packers vs. Indianapolis Colts (August 7th on ESPN)

The preseason schedule kicks off each year with the annual Hall of Fame Game, played in a 22,000+ seat stadium in Canton, Ohio that is used for high school games the rest of the time. It’s tradition and something that can’t be messed with to the higher ups in the league.

Since it’s the opening game of the preseason, you likely won’t see the starters play for more than a couple series (maybe the entire first quarter if you’re lucky, but don’t bet on it). That means if you blink, you will miss Aaron Rodgers practicing his Hail Mary touchdown passes to get ready for the 2016 season.

At the same time, this might be the closest that Colts quarterback Andrew Luck gets to actually being in the Hall of Fame. After all the high hopes following being picked first overall in 2012, Luck is coming off an injury filled season last year that showed he was (wait for it) human.

Instead of wondering how many All-Pro teams Luck was going to make in his career, the conversation needs to turn to how many years he might have left being a starter in the NFL if he can’t live up to the hype.
