High Value SG

Zach LaVine-Minnesota Timberwolves (5,500): LaVine has picked up his scoring again lately after a rough stretch where he scored 11 points or fewer in four of five games.  Since then, he has bounced back with 16 and 18 points in the two games on the Wolves’ current road trip finishing with 35.3 fantasy points and 28.2 fantasy points against the Warriors and Kings. He’s getting plenty of playing time as the Wolves close out the season, and has shown he has a ton of promise and can be a part of Minnesota’s plan going forward.

Tony Allen-Memphis Grizzlies (4,500): The Grizz have lost so many players due to injury that they’re left looking to Trick-or-Treat Tony for offense.  Allen had 25 points and seven boards last night finishing with 40.9 fantasy points in 37 minutes.  He had been battling a few nagging injuries, but he seems to be back to full strength and should be able to thrive in the small-ball environment that comes with taking on the Warriors.

Seth Curry-Sacramento Kings (4,400): Curry could get squeezed for time tonight if both Rajon Rondo and Darren Collison are active for the Kings, but Curry has been playing well coming down the stretch for the Kings making him an interesting option going forward. Curry has scored in double digits in seven of his last eight games and has at least 19 fantasy points in six of those eight. The Kings and Thunder should put up plenty of points tonight, and Curry is an option if you have to go cheap.

Archie Goodwin-Phoenix Suns (3,700): Not surprisingly, the best cheap option at SG comes from the bargain-bin game of the night in New Orleans.  Goodwin has been pressed into service as the team’s fill-in PG due to all the injuries at the position even though his game actually fits more naturally at SG. Goodwin had 29.9 fantasy points against the Rockets on Thursday with 16 points, five assists, and three steals.
