Danny Willett won The Masters 2016 and his brother reacted perfectly to it all

Danny Willett pulled off something that most people only dream of while they’re putting their tee shot at the local municipal golf course in the water. After a brilliant 67 in the final round of The Masters 2016 and after Jordan Spieth’s epic collapse, Willett was able to capture his first Green Jacket and his first win in a Major Championship. However, Danny Willett’s brother may have been even more on his game than his brother.

P.J. Willett (assumedly watching back home in England) was catching his brother’s winning effort at The Masters on TV and live-tweeting the whole thing. When it started to look like Danny Willett had it locked up, he offered an odd factoid that he’ll now be able to throw out casually in conversation:

Continuing his musings, P.J. also thought that his brother should look for a different color jacket as green apparently isn’t his color:

Once Danny Willett had locked it all up though, the brother delivered the best tweet yet with another anecdotal fact that will make anyone chuckle:

Let that be the lesson for all siblings on National Sibling Day in the United States: Even when you’re furious that your sibling hurt your pet rat, just know that he or she might go on to great things one day. Danny Willett certainly taught that lesson to his brother on Sunday at Augusta as he won The Masters.
