High Value SF

Luol Deng-Miami Heat (5,900): Deng finished with 26 fantasy points against the Magic on Friday and has at least that many in six of his last eight contests.  He has been very consistent for Miami and will get plenty of playing time tonight if the two teams duel with their small-balling lineups as they did on Friday.

Jerami Grant-Philadelphia 76ers (5,000): Since returning from his own injury, Grant has helped cover for his many injured teammates and has put up solid fantasy production on a regular basis.  He has scored at least ten points five straight games while adding some solid non-scoring numbers as well.  He has at least 29 fantasy points in three of his last five un-injury-shortened games, and he should be in a place to succeed tonight against the Bucks banged-up defense. ∗∗

Derrick Williams-New York Knicks (4,600): Williams has been picking up some extra playing time coming down the stretch with Kristaps Porzingis sidelined.  Williams has scored in double figures in nine of his last ten games and has added at least six rebounds in four of his last five.  Williams has over 22 fantasy points in each of those four games and is a solid option to invest in if you have to save some money at SF. If starting-

Harrison Barnes-Golden State Warriors (4,500): Barnes is a solid play for this price despite all the uncertainty going in the Golden State-San Antonio game tonight.  Barnes did have 21 points and eight boards against the Spurs earlier this week and finished with 32.5 fantasy points in that contest.  He has at least 27 fantasy points in five of his last seven games and will look to bounce back after just 19 fantasy points last night while playing just 30 minutes.  The risk with him (and the rest of the Warriors) is the total uncertainty of their playing time in a tough matchup against a good Spurs defense which also is a bit uncertain since who knows what Greg Popovich will do with his rotation tonight.

Jakarr Sampson-Denver Nuggets (3,000): If you have to go ultra-cheap at SF, check out Jakarr Sampson who escaped the 76ers and landed with the Nuggets where he has flashed some upside.  He had 27.5 fantasy points on Friday with 16 points and four rebounds against the Spurs, and he has at least 15 fantasy points in each of his last five while starting for the Nuggets. He’s a flier, but he has some upside at this bargain-basement price.
