Unfortunately for Cincinnati, this is what happens when one roster hole is just that much bigger than the rest of them.</p> <p>The Bengals have an impressively deep roster and a lack of any real weaknesses. Still, Cincinnati’s depth chart at wide receiver is fairly comical at this moment, with Brandon LaFell and Brandon Tate serving as the team’s choices to start alongside A.J. Green.</p> <p>It isn’t a revolutionary idea to project Cincinnati to take a wide receiver, but that’s because it’s the only obvious move. Fuller is a prospect that scouts are sharply divided on, because he is the epitome of a “boom or bust” player. His downfield speed and play-making are electric; Fuller was the fastest wide receiver at the NFL combine. However, his hands are among the worst at the position in this class among legitimate draft options, and that will obviously be a concern as he tries to make the step up to the next level.</p> <p>The presence of Green does give the Bengals a bit of license to shoot for the stars with this pick, and that helps Fuller’s case.
