123.
Finally!

Okay, it wasn’t as if we waited too long to take Myles Jack off the board. Miller ranks the former UCLA standout as the number two overall player (trailing only Jalen Ramsey) on his board, but we had to get to a team that needed an upgrade at linebacker before picking him.

That team is the Cowboys.

Dallas has been widely linked with an upgrade at defensive end (hello, Joey Bosa?) and that isn’t a shock given the state of the roster at that spot. However, it isn’t as if the linebacker situation is much better, and Sean Lee’s injury history (and age) are cause for concern. Jack is a prime example of taking a player with lofty upside, as his physical traits are basically off the charts for a linebacker. If he could play alongside Lee for a few seasons before transitioning to be “the guy” in the linebacking corps, that would be nice as well.

Much like the Chargers, the Cowboys could go in any number of directions (quarterback? running back?) with this pick, but Myles Jack is the best player available in the mind of Miller and we will ride that out here.
.
