4. This Ain’t Their First Rodeo

Other than the Chicago Blackhawks, no team in the NHL has more experience in the playoffs than the Kings. They know the effort and focus required to win the Stanley Cup, as they have done it twice since 2011. Nothing that Los Angeles faces will faze them. They’ve experienced just about every situation possible.

Los Angeles can fight back from any deficit. They came back from a three games to zero deficit in 2014. Los Angeles has the confidence to know that they are never out, no matter what the circumstances. In 2012, they proved that they can steamroll over teams if they get hot. Their resilience showed in 2014.

With a defense that can suffocate any offense and a relentless forecheck that destroys everything in its path, Los Angeles is a team that is extremely difficult to beat four times before they beat you four times. The longer the series goes, the more their hits and pressure get to their opponents. Los Angeles knows that’s a good way to win.

The Los Angeles Kings have the defense necessary to win any game. Their offense isn’t high scoring, but they are very opportunistic and they tend to get the job done when they need to.
