Seumalo is a versatile offensive lineman that could not only help protect Phillip Rivers but could also add depth to an offensive line that has proven to be injury prone. He would add talent and blocking ability for this run game that was almost nonexistent last season behind Melvin Gordon.

He went into Oregon State and started three out of four years, he sat out his junior season due to breaking his foot. While he was healthy, he filled in for anyone who had an injury at Oregon State and earned All Pac-12 honors. He has quick feet and is technically very sound going into the NFL.

He may not be a starter right away, but he is talented and the Chargers need depth on the offensive line. Seumalo could use some work in the weight room. If he gained a bit of weight, adding to his 6-4, 303 pound frame, he could become a great offensive lineman in the league and help bring this Chargers team back to the NFL Playoffs.
