125.
This draft class is full of high-upside bigs, and the odds that one out of Labissiere, Davis, Chriss, Stone, or Maker drops are high. Due to fit, Davis has fallen here, which has left the Hawks in an excellent position to snatch the Michigan State big man. With Al Horford’s free agency looming, the Hawks could pursue a big man to add depth, and Davis would be an excellent choice.

Davis produced impressive numbers as a freshman, posting 16.1 points and 11.8 rebounds per 40 minutes. While he was limited at how he posted those numbers, getting a majority of his points on dump-offs, offensive rebounds, and pick-and-roll dives, he was proficient at each, suggesting he could slip into the same role offensively at the next level. Davis is also very skilled as a shot blocker, posting a block rate of 10.2 percent. Davis has solid timing defensively, and with his size and instincts, should be able to grow into a rim protector if he can cut down on fouls (4.9 fouls per 40 minutes).

Even if Davis ends up being fairly limited offensively, his defense should be enough to get him minutes, especially on the Hawks, who have the spacing to be able to let Davis hang around the baseline and prowl for rebounds. With Tiago Splitter’s health an uncertain question mark, the Hawks would be wise to snatch up Davis if he gets to them.
