2. 2015-2016 Golden State Warriors

As great as the Warriors were during the 2015-2016 NBA regular season, their work is not done yet if they want to be called the greatest NBA team of all-time. Their regular season success shouldn’t be underestimated. Winning 73 games in the NBA is an extremely difficult thing to do. Considering that the Warriors run their offense at the fastest pace in the NBA and rely on three pointers, it’s outstanding that the Warriors have been so consistent.

So why aren’t they the best? Because they haven’t won the title yet. If they win it, they will certainly have good reason to call themselves the greatest basketball team of all-time. Another reason is that all of the other teams on this list are hilariously stacked. They all feature at least two Hall of Famers. Steph Curry, barring something unforeseen, is going to be in the Hall of Fame. But will Draymond Green be in the Hall of Fame? Will Klay Thompson? It is very hard to say, but most likely, they won’t. Even an optimist must admit that it is far too early to call either one a Hall of Famer.

Could the Warriors be the best team of all-time? Absolutely. But they still have a ton of work to do to knock the kings down from their throne.
