No. 2 – Kobe finishes his career with 60 points in a win (2016)

If there was any other way that Kobe Bryant was going to go out (aside from winning a championship, which wasn’t even an option for this year’s Lakers team), the way Bryant did it on Wednesday may go down as the best finale in the history of the league.

Early on against the Utah Jazz, Kobe was struggling and didn’t look like he was going to go out with a memorable performance. But, his Lakers teammates continued to feed him the ball…and feed him the ball…and feed him the ball some more.

In the fourth quarter, Bryant seemed to single handedly bring the Lakers back to the point where they could actually win this game. Kobe would hit a basket with under a minute to go to keep the Lakers in the lead and would get to the 60 point plateau with two free throws that sent the Staples Center crowd into a frenzy.

In a season where the Lakers won just 17 games, there hasn’t been much to cheer for. Kobe took care of that for one night and went out the best way he could.
