Joe Thuney – Offensive Guard – NC State

Joe Thuney could round out this draft for the Titans pretty well. He could add depth to a line that needs many options. He is a versatile player, having played three different positions for the Wolfpack. He has good size at six five, 304 pounds. Thuney is also a beast, benching 225 pounds 28 times.

Thuney is smart. He knows where to be and when to be there, but he has trouble with hand placement in preventing the rush and questionable footwork. But it seems that these are things he can fix with some education, which he excels in. He graduated with honors and could put that education to good use and learn better techniques on the field.

If nothing else, Thuney would be a good edition simply for depth. He could also add a great work ethic to this Titans team and with his versatility, he could be used in the case of injuries for Tennessee. If he improves like he has shown before, he could be a solid backup or more for this offensive line protecting Mariota.
