Kevin Durant throws down dunk vs Mavericks (Video)
Kevin Durant threw down this big slam during Monday’s playoff game against the Mavericks.
On Monday night, Game 2 of the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks playoff game took place. Game 1 saw the Thunder absolutely obliterate the Mavs, who had no answer to just about everything that the Kevin Durant-led squad was doing. The game was pretty much over by halftime with things only getting worse in the second half.
Game 2 hasn’t been the same, as Dallas hasn’t fallen behind. They took the lead a few times and made this one a game. The Thunder have been continuing to battle, though. This included a monster slam dunk by Durant in the third quarter. He ran down court, passes the ball, got it back and threw it down for a dunk to rile up the crowd.
This basket made the game 73-69 in favor of OKC.
More of this would have been great from Durant but he shot a horrendous 6 for 31 from the field. If he made a few extra shots, the Thunder could have won this game. That’s not to put all the blame on the former Texas Longhorn, but it’s a performance that’s not expected.
