Atlanta Hawks mascot, Harry the Hawk, tried to jump a barricade during the game and ended up landing on his groin.

On Tuesday night, the Atlanta Hawks picked up a dominating win at home over the Boston Celtics, as they took a 2-0 series lead in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

The Celtics only finished with 72 points on the night and only had seven points in the first quarter. While the Celtics were failing to make baskets during the game, the Hawks’ mascot, Harry the Hawk, decided that he was going to take a leap of faith in the stands.

Like the Celtics’ shooting, Harry the Hawk failed at his jump, as he tried to jump between barricades. Not only did Harry the Hawk not stick the landing, he landed on the barricade right on the groin.

It definitely didn’t go as planned, as he hunched over the barricade in pain immediately as he clutched his little hawks. Mascots are usually the most agile creatures on the planet, but every now and then they fall flat as well.

There wasn’t a more fitting night for Harry the Hawk to fall flat on the nether region.
