High Salary C

Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat (8,700): Whiteside had a strong Game One even though he didn’t need to play a ton of minutes finishing with 45.75 fantasy points against the Hornets on 21 points, 11 rebounds, three blocks, and two steals.  Whiteside has at least 38 fantasy points in four of his last five games and seven of his last ten.  He should be able to approach 50 fantasy points tonight if he plays 30 minutes or more. Charlotte keeping this game close would be a good thing for Whiteside owners since otherwise he could play reduced minutes once again.

DeAndre Jordan-Los Angeles Clippers (7,500): After he dominated them in the regular season, Jordan continued to pulverize Portland in Game One finishing with 45.5 fantasy points on 18 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks.  He only had to play 32 minutes in that game, and he could end up with an even bigger total if tonight’s game is more competitive.  I like him a little more than Whiteside tonight based on the matchup and the fact that I think Portland has a better chance of keeping their game competitive than the Hornets do.
