High Value C

Al Jefferson-Charlotte Hornets (4,900): Once you get past the “big three” centers of Whiteside-Jordan-Drummond, the center pool is extremely shallow.  Jefferson only had 20.25 fantasy points in Game One on 13 points and five boards in his 23 minutes, but he’s the best option tonight under 6K. He did finish the regular season with encouraging fantasy performances of 36 and 38.75 fantasy points, but he was a letdown in Game One. Hopefully, he can bounce back tonight as the Hornets try to hang in there with the Heat.

Cody Zeller-Charlotte Hornets (3,600): The only other value center worth a look tonight is Big Al’s teammate Cody Zeller. Zeller played 20 minutes in Game One and had nine points and seven rebounds for 19.25 fantasy points. With Marvin Williams struggle at PF, Zeller may need to spend more time next to Big Al if the Hornets want to slow down Deng, Whiteside, and the Heat attack which they had no answers for in their last game.
