DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-April 20
High Salary PG
Chris Paul-Los Angeles Clippers (9,600): Paul had 57.5 fantasy points in Game One against Portland turning in an excellent 28 points, 11 assists, and six boards in just 33 minutes of play. He is definitely running the show in LA and is able to take advantage of his matchup against the Blazers backcourt. When CP3 is dialed in, he has as much fantasy upside as any PG in the NBA, and if Portland can keep tonight’s game close he could even end up with more fantasy points if he plays more minutes. ∗∗∗∗
Kyrie Irving-Cleveland Cavaliers (7,700): Irving had a strong Game One as well posting 31 points in his 38 minutes and adding in six assists, five rebounds, and two steals on his way to 54.25 fantasy points. He isn’t guaranteed to stay as involved at this level with LeBron around, but he definitely seems to have a matchup he can attack. During the regular season. he averaged 29 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 rebounds in his two games against the Pistons and it looks like he’ll be able to continue to pile up to points as he takes on Reggie Jackson and Detroit’s backcourt tonight. ∗∗∗
Reggie Jackson-Detroit Pistons (6,500): Jackson had a strong opening game to the playoffs with 17 points and seven assists for 31.5 fantasy points. He shot the ball well (7-12) despite missing recent games due to an abdominal strain, and he didn’t show much rust in his first game back. Jackson will need to have a big game for Detroit to keep tonight’s game close, but his matchup against the Cavs backcourt is one he should be able to exploit.∗∗
Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (6,400): I used Dragic on a regular basis in my FanDuel daily picks coming down the stretch and he continued to deliver in Game One although he played limited minutes since the game turned into a blowout. Dragic only scored nine points but did still have ten assists so he was able to finish with 26.75 fantasy points. He is almost lock for 25+ fantasy points, but he can easily deliver 30 if he has to pick up his scoring due to game situation.∗∗∗
