High Value SF

Kent Bazemore-Atlanta Hawks (5,600): Bazemore has been excellent in the first two games against Boston even though he only scored five points in Game 2 on Tuesday.  He still chipped in nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals for 26.75 fantasy points in his 29 minutes, and he can be even better if he can make his shots like he did in Game 1 when he had 39.5 fantasy points on 23 points, eight boards, and two blocks.  Bazemore is a great play again tonight as he faces the Celtics who don’t defend opposing SF especially well.

Marcus Morris-Detroit Pistons (5,500): Morris has posted 33 fantasy points and 24.25 fantasy points in the first two games in this series and continues to play plenty of minutes for Detroit night-in and night-out.  He is a safe pick for tonight since he has at least 20 fantasy points in eight of his last nine games dating back to before the playoffs. He has the potential to to off if his shot is dropping, but he is a solid play if you decide to go with an option in the midrange at SF.

Lance Stephenson-Memphis Grizzlies (3,900): With Memphis so desperate for offense, they need to give Lance more playing time than the nine minutes he got on Tuesday in Game 2.  He scored four points and had an assist for 5.5 fantasy points after posting 22 fantasy points in Game 1. Unless there is an injury we don’t know about, it doesn’t make sense for him not to pick up more minutes tonight against San Antonio.

Stanley Johnson-Detroit Pistons (3,300): Johnson isn’t in LeBron’s head like he seems to think, but he is a solid option if you have to go cheap at SF tonight.  He played 22 minutes in Game 2 after 16 in Game 1. He ended up with only 11 fantasy points in Game 2 despite all the extra time since he only grabbed two boards as opposed to the eight he had in Game 1 in just 16 minutes. He should return to better non-scoring numbers tonight, and his uptick in playing time could be a sign of a productive game to come tonight at home against Cleveland.
