High Value PF

Amir Johnson-Boston Celtics (4,800): Johnson was one of the few Celtics with a solid stat line in Game 2 finishing with 14 points and eight boards for 26 fantasy points in his 21 minutes. With Kelly Olynyk still uncertain to return tonight, Johnson should get plenty of time in the middle against the big men of the Hawks.  He’s Boston’s best defensive option and brings plenty of energy which is why I like him to have a good game at home tonight against Atlanta.

Tristan Thompson-Cleveland Cavaliers (4,100): Thompson only played 13 minutes in Game 2 since he battled foul trouble most of the night. Coach Tyronn Lue went small most of the night, though, as the Cavs continue to tweak their rotation. Thompson should be back to his full workload tonight as long as he doesn’t pick up quick fouls again.  I think he’ll bounce back and be near a double-double against the Pistons at The Palace tonight.

JaMychal Green-Memphis Grizzlies (3,400): Green is a solid cheap option as well although he hasn’t played 20 minutes in either of the first two games in the series.  Green did total 24.25 fantasy points in Game 2, though, with six points, severn rebounds, two blocks, and two steals against San Antonio.  The Grizz are looking for any kind of production and there was a stretch this season where Green stepped up big time.  He’s worth a flier if you have to stay at the cheap end of the PF pool tonight. ∗∗

Boris Diaw-San Antonio Spurs (2,900): If you have to go all the way cheap, the best option is Boris Diaw who continues to play about 20 minutes per game for San Antonio off the bench.  He had 14 and 16.5 fantasy points in the first two games and although he won’t go off he does have a solid enough track record of productive outings to make him the best sub-3K option on the board tonight.
