Marcus Smart with the ridiculous flop vs Hawks (Video)

Marcus Smart pulled off this egregiously bad flop against the Atlanta Hawks.

On Friday night, things went Boston’s way, as the Celtics were able to win Game 3 of their series at home against the Atlanta Hawks. They were led by point guard Isaiah Thomas going off for 40 points, seven assists and five steals.

Guard Marcus Smart also had himself an interesting night. He was solid statistically, but he did something that won’t be remembered too fondly.

Toward the end of the 4th quarter, the Celtics were leading and had a possession in which they were looking to extend it. As a shot was being taken, for some odd reason, as Smart lined up for the rebound, he leaned against Kyle Korver and flopped so bad that the NBA should fine him three times for this. In other words, this is really bad.

That’s just ridiculous and blatant. Don’t do that, Marcus, unless you want to make a fool of yourself.

Hopefully, next time around, Smart will just line up for the basketball and grab the rebound instead of throwing himself down like he got hit with the Rock Bottom by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It looked like the Oklahoma State alumnus even hurt his back too.

Maybe Marcus Smart will think twice before doing this again,
