High Value C

Enes Kanter-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,100): If the Thunder rout the Mavericks, it’s a good bet that Kanter will clean up again in garbage time.  In Game 1, he had 16 points and 13 boards for 34.25 fantasy points, and in Game 3 he went off even more with 37 fantasy points on 21 points, eight rebounds, a block, a steal, and an assist. He played only 19 minutes in the game in between finishing with just 17.5 fantasy points since the game was close and competitive throughout.  Kanter is the offensive leader of the second unit and offers great scoring off the bench but his defensive liabilities cause him to lose some playing time on some nights. Since I think the Thunder will cruise again tonight, I like Kanter as a cheap center play with upside.∗∗∗∗

Mason Plumlee-Portland Trail Blazers (5,000): Plumlee had a huge game in the Blazers’ Game 2 loss totaling 47.5 fantasy points on 17 points, ten rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.  It was a huge bounce back from his 10.25 fantasy points in Game 1. Plumlee can be a very productive and diverse option when he’s at his best, but he’s a hit-or-miss play as represented by his two games so far this series.
