DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-April 23
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook-Oklahoma City Thunder (11,000): Westbrook has had at least 48 fantasy points in each of the three games in the Thunder’s series with Dallas although he has yet to totally go off and reach 55 fantasy points in any of those contests. He has his best fantasy production of the series in Game 3 scoring 26 points to go with 15 assists. He would have had even more than his 54 fantasy points if he had grabbed any rebounds or been able to limit his six turnovers. Even with the Mavs getting healthier in the backcourt, they don’t have an answer for Westbrook and the only reason I think there is to be cautious tonight is the risk of a blowout.∗∗∗
Chris Paul-Los Angeles Clippers (9,600): Paul must haunt the Blazers nightmares. He dominated them during the regular season and has posted at least 25 points and 40 fantasy points in each of the first two games in the series. He only had to play 30 minutes in Game 2, but he still had 43 fantasy points on 25 points, six rebounds, and five assists. He is definitely stepping up his game for the playoffs and is in a great matchup to continue dominating tonight as the series shifts to Portland. ∗∗∗∗
Kemba Walker-Charlotte Hornets (7,800): Walker did all he could in game 2 stepping up with 29 points against Miami and adding four rebounds, three assists, a block, and a steal to get to 42 fantasy points. It wasn’t enough as the Hornets still lost, but they’ll host Game 3 tonight and need another big game from their start PG. Walker will have to carry the offense even more now that Nicolas Batum is out, so look for a big game from Kemba this afternoon. ∗∗∗∗
Goran Dragic-Miami Heat (6,500): Dragic has at least 26 fantasy points in both of the first two games in this series and has been productive captaining the Heat offense throughout the second half of the season. Dwyane Wade has stepped up next to Dragic and taken on more of a playmaking role, but Dragic still has put together good enough numbers to be a solid midrange pickup. ∗∗
