High Value PG

J.J. Barea-Dallas Mavericks (5,200): Barea’s status is officially questionable for tonight along with his teammate Deron Williams, but Barea did play over 30 minutes in Game 3 indicating he should be able to play in Game 4 as well.  He finished that contest with 15 points and seven assists on his way to 26 fantasy points which was limited by his five turnovers.  He’s still playing hurt, but if you need a PG option around 5K, he’s clearly an option with plenty of upside.

Jeremy Lin-Charlotte Hornets (4,800): Lin is one of the biggest wild cards on the board this Saturday since he has had a quiet series so far, but he has had some monster games when given the chance to start in the past.  He had 53.25 fantasy points against Boston in his second-to-last regular season contest when starting in place of Nicolas Batum, and he has the potential for huge things if he gets the start alongside Kemba Walker tonight and  gets his offensive game going early.  Lin is boom-or-bust but there is a lot of upside to love given his opportunity tonight.

Cory Joseph-Toronto Raptors (3,500): The Raptors’ backup guard has been my go-to for a cheap PG play this offseason and overall he has delivered with 27.75, 23.25, and 20 fantasy points in the first three games of the series.  He has played 24 minutes in each of those contests with at least ten points every time he has taken the floor.  If you have to dive under 4K, he’s the name I’d look for.
