High Value C

Mason Plumlee-Portland Trail Blazers (5,900): After scoring 17 points in Game 2, only six points in Game 3 would usually be a disappointment, but Plumlee made up for the decrease in scoring by hauling in an impressive 21 rebounds and adding nine assists for 44.7 fantasy points in his 33 minutes in Game 3.  He has at least 44 fantasy points in each of the last two games after just ten fantasy points in Game 1. He isn’t as established as Whiteside or Jordan, but he has out-produced them both in his last two games.  He’s high-risk, but I love his upside especially since the Blazers are still at home tonight against the Clippers.

Enes Kanter-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,000): The Thunder would be amazing good if Kanter could play even a little bit of defense.  His offensive game is undeniable, but OKC has to limit his minutes since his defensive game bears too much of a resemblance to James Harden’s. Kanter was great in the Thunder’s two wins in Dallas scoring 21 and 28 points and totaling 36.1 and 34.2 fantasy points. He has over 30 fantasy points in three of the four games in this series and will get extra playing time if the Thunder pull away early from the Mavs.  Kanter is a mid-range play with a ton of upside in his matchup tonight against the Mavs although there is risk that he’ll struggle off the bench and leave you with a burn like he did in Game 2 when he had just 16.6 fantasy points.
