High Value SF

Al-Farouq Aminu-Portland Trail Blazers: Aminu has had a solid series with at least 21 fantasy points in each of the first three games against his former squad.  He only had nine points and seven boards in Game 3 and has posted progressively fewer fantasy points in each of the three games dating back to his Game 1 double-double.  He is playing a ton of minutes, though, and doing good work on the glass, so he’s one of the sub-6K SF that I think has the most upside on tonight’s limited slate. ∗∗

Marvin Williams-Charlotte Hornets (5,100): Williams had a great year for Charlotte but had a dreadful start to the playoffs with just a total of two points in the firs two games of the series while posting under 10 fantasy points in each contest.  He did reappear for Gem 3 playing 36 minutes and totaling 12 points and 14 rebounds on his way to 30.8 fantasy points. Williams seemed to fit in well at SF as the Hornets went big in Nicolas Batum’s absence, and if Batum is out again tonight Williams will need to once again rise to the occasion.

Justin Anderson-Dallas Mavericks (3,800): Anderson had ten points and seven boards as well as two assists in 19 minutes in Game 4 against the Thunder and has at least 16 fantasy points in each of the last three games.  While those numbers won’t blow you away, they are enough to make him the best option at SF at under 4K especially as the Mavs continue to search for a rotation that works against the Thunder.
