High Salary PF

Blake Griffin-Los Angeles Clippers (8,800): The Clippers need a big game from Blake tonight as they look to avoid letting the Blazers even the series. Griffin looked great in Game 1 when he had 44.4 fantasy points on 19 points, 12 boards, and six assists, but he hasn’t been able to produce at that level in the two games since with 27.8 and 27.4 fantasy points in games two and three.  Griffin is in a matchup he should e able to attack and is getting plenty of playing time, so his overall lack of production is disappointing. Hopefully, he can bounce back in Game 4 or the Clippers may have much more work to still be done in the first round.

Dirk Nowitzki-Dallas Mavericks (7,000): Nowitzki was one of the few Mavericks who stepped up in Game 3 and Game 4 in Dallas totaling over 35 fantasy points in each contest while producing in a variety of categories.  He had 36.7 fantasy points in Game 3 on 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two blocks and followed that with 39.6 fantasy points in Game 4 on 27 points, eight boards, and two assists. He struggled in the two games of this series in OKC with under 22 fantasy points in each contest, but he seems to be fully over his knee issue and is the most reliable source of offense on the floor for the Mavs.  With so many injuries, Dirk will be asked to carry a lot of the load tonight against the Thunder in a must-win for the Mavs.

Luol Deng-Miami Heat (6,600): Even in the Heat’s Game 3 loss, Deng had good numbers once again finishing with 19 points and eight rebounds for 27.6 fantasy points. He has at least that many fantasy points in each of the three games again the Hornets although he hasn’t returned to his Game 1 form which saw his score 31 points and 41.9 fantasy points. The potential for that kind of outburst is definitely there, and Deng is fairly low-risk given his current share of the playing time for the Heat. ∗∗
