player. 44.
What a coup for the Falcons.

Atlanta has been brutal when it comes to linebackers with range in recent years, and head coach Dan Quinn remains in search of overall talent and athleticism on the defensive side of the ball. With Darron Lee, the Falcons would be acquiring a great combination of every trait that Quinn is looking for with a linebacker.

Lee is the fastest linebacker in the NFL Draft this year, running an obscene 4.47 in the 40-yard dash at the combine. Pure speed is not everything when it comes to play the position at the professional level, but Lee has the ability to play from sideline to sideline as a tackler and, more importantly, he would be a sharp upgrade when defending tight ends and running backs in the passing game.

Atlanta’s front seven is probably its biggest point of concern for 2016, and it would not be a shock to see this brain trust looking for any player at that level of the defense. If Lee falls this far, though, the Falcons would be insane to pass on him, as it would be tough to find a better fit for his talents in the entire league right now.
. LB. Ohio State. Darron Lee. 17
