46.
Will Ryan Grigson finally invest in an offensive lineman with a first round pick?

The Indianapolis Colts have had all kinds of issues in protecting their franchise player, Andrew Luck, in recent years, and much of that can be tied to the organization trying to give Luck weapons instead of simply keeping him upright. The Colts would definitely love to get their hands on Ohio State’s Taylor Decker, joining a number of teams in this range, but he is gone in this mock scenario and Indy is forced to turn inward for help on the offensive line.

Ryan Kelly is easily the best interior lineman in this year’s draft, and the Colts absolutely need help at center. It is fair to say, from a value perspective, that taking a center this early in the process would be a reach, but Kelly brings an immediate starter at the position to the table and he gives Indianapolis their new Jeff Saturday to Luck’s Peyton Manning.

If, for some reason, the Colts elect to avoid offensive line investment again, Indy could go with a pass-rusher in the mold of Leonard Floyd or Noah Spence. Still, the Colts have one glaring need above all else and it is time to pull the trigger to help protect Luck.
. C. Alabama. Ryan Kelly. 18. player
