No. 1 – Denver Broncos

Since legendary quarterback Peyton Manning announced his retirement and back-up Brock Osweiler took a massive paycheck to leave town for the Houston Texans, the Broncos have been searching all over the country for who will be their signal caller during the 2016 season.

So far, the options are Mark Sanchez and … well, that’s all there is right now in the Mile High City. It has gotten so bad that the team seems to have fallen through on their plans to trade for Colin Kaepernick and they even entertained the idea of signing Johnny Manziel (the ultimate level of desperation).

If those are your options (more or less Mr. Butt Fumble or Johnny Football), then Sam Bradford is the quarterback for this franchise. He knows what it has been like to play in both the Midwest (from his time with the Rams) and in a hostile environment (looking at you, Philly).

More importantly is that, on his worst day, Sam Bradford is light years better than Sanchez when it comes to playing the quarterback position. The Broncos are never going to fully replace the two quarterbacks no longer on the roster, but the drop will be a lot easier to deal with in Bradford is under center.
