High Value C

Al Jefferson-Charlotte Hornets (4,900): Jefferson has at least 20 fantasy points in each of the four games in this series and has been near a double-double in a couple of the contests.  He didn’t step up as much as some thought he would against an ailing Hassan Whiteside in Game 4, but he still had a decent 21.25 fantasy points on nine points, five rebounds, and three assists. If you spend this much on him tonight, you’re hoping he can do even more against Whiteside tonight who is still dealing with a thigh bruise.  In the last game the two teams played in Miami, Big Al had 25 points and seven boards on his way to a series-high 36.25 fantasy points. Jefferson isn’t guaranteed to get to that level tonight, but he does have that upside.

Andrew Bogut-Golden State Warriors (4,000): Bogut’s minutes have been unpredictable in the series against Houston and he played a total of 29 minutes in the two games in Houston after playing 27 minutes in Game 2. In Game 2, he had ten points and seven boards to go with three blocks on his way to 28.75 fantasy points. While he isn’t assured enough time to get to that level again, he is the best cheap play at center tonight especially since Golden State is back at home tonight where he tends to play some of his best games.

Frank Kaminsky-Charlotte Hornets (3,600): Kaminsky drew the start of the second game in a row on Monday, but he couldn’t match his Game 3 production when he had 28 fantasy points on 15 points and six boards.  He finished with just four points and four rebounds in 25 minutes for 13 fantasy points in Game 4.  He’s risky given his up-and-down production, but it is clear that the Hornets are committed to going with him in the lineup while Nicolas Batum is out, so he has enough upside to be worth a look at the bottom of the PF salary chart tonight.
