2016 NFL mock draft: Final edition
Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
The Buffalo Bills are one of the harder teams to peg in terms of most-pressing need. The Bills did a nice job of finding Tyrod Taylor last offseason, a player who may never be elite but certainly can start for a good team in the NFL. With quarterback squared away, the Bills can focus on upgrading some other roster spots.
After letting Mario Williams hit the bricks this offseason, Buffalo has a legitimate need on the outside edge. With Noah Spence going to the Indianapolis Colts a pick before them, the Bills have to take advantage of their position and nab Leonard Floyd before the run on outside linebackers begins. A quality outside linebacker who could play multiple roles in Buffalo, Floyd would be a nice addition to a team on the verge of making the playoffs for the first time since 1999.
Buffalo could also draft an interior offensive lineman or a tackle should one of the high-rated ones fall here, but we can’t forget who the head coach is. Rex Ryan loves to talk about his defense and over his six seasons with the New York Jets, the first-round picks were dedicated to that side of the ball. It won’t change now.
