Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss

The Houston Texans have revamped their offense this offseason, and there is no reason to stop now. The Texans went 9-7 last year for the second consecutive season and made the playoffs as the AFC South champion, only to get shutout by the Kansas City Chiefs in a 30-0 waxing. After that embarrassment, general manager Rick Smith aggressively upgraded, signing quarterback Brock Osweiler and running back Lamar Miller.

At this spot, it would be wise to compliment DeAndre Hopkins on the outside and take the first receiver off the board in Laquon Treadwell. Treadwell is the best receiver in the draft despite his 4.63 40-yard dash time. He has a big body and at 6-foot-2 can go up and get the football. He also has the ability to run through defenders after the catch, reminding some of Anquan Boldin.

For Houston, this would be a perfect fit. Hopkins also ran a slow 40-yard dash, approaching 4.7. This shows that Smith is comfortable with going for a receiver with mediocre wheels but great hands. If Treadwell is available, this would be one of the easier selections of the entire night. The Texans need a difference maker on offense, and Treadwell is certainly that.
