High Value PF

Patrick Patterson-Toronto Raptors (3,700): Patterson moved into the starting lineup for Toronto in Game 5 but struggled with his shot going just 3-10 to finish with seven points and two boards in his 26 minutes for 11 fantasy points. He had been playing plenty of minutes off the bench and been fairly productive, so I think he’s in a place to succeed if he gets the start again tonight and gets more of his shots to start dropping.  Patterson is the best cheap play at PF tonight simply because he does get consistent minutes. ∗∗

Ed Davis-Portland Trail Blazers (3,600): The only other cheap option with the potential to produce is Ed Davis who has been good when he gets minutes but hasn’t gotten consistent enough playing time to be a great option.  Davis had 24.5 fantasy points in Game 4 in Portland on four points and 12 boards, but he only managed two points and five rebounds for 8.25 fantasy points in Game 5. He’s a high-risk play tonight, but he could deliver especially if he gets extra time in a blowout or if Mason Plumlee returns to earth after his meteoric rise this series.
