2. Robbie Ray-Arizona Diamondbacks (12.2%)

Staying in the NL West, the next option in my fantasy baseball streaming pitchers for Friday is Robbie Ray of the D-Backs.  Ray was rocked by the Pirates in his start on Sunday giving up five runs on eight hits in just three innings and watching his ERA jump to 3.80. I think he should be able to bounce back tonight, though, especially against the Rockies away from Coors Field.

Ray entered Sunday’s start with an impressive 1.96 ERA in his first three outings and had turned in quality starts in all three appearances.  He’s a good source of strikeouts with 22 in his 21.1 innings this season, and he did fare well against the Rockies last year going 1-0 with a 2.04 ERA in three starts against Colorado.

The cause for concern with Ray is that Chase Field hasn’t been kind to him the last two years and most of his best outings have come on the road.  Tonight, he’s worth a look despite being at home, though, especially since he’s facing Chris Rusin of the Rockies who will be making his first start of the season.
