1. Jalen Ramsey

Under head coach Gus Bradley, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been waiting to land the superstar defensive back that could resemble the ones that Bradley had in Seattle. On Thursday night, the Jaguars finally got their guy in Jalen Ramsey.

The Florida State defensive back has been seen by many as a surefire superstar and he has the swagger that will carry the Jaguars’ secondary for many years to come. While it was obvious that the Jaguars would love to have Ramsey on their roster, it seemed like a bit of a stretch that he would last to the No. 5 pick in the draft.

When the Dallas Cowboys decided to take Ezekiel Elliott with the No. 4 pick in the draft, it opened up the door for the Jaguars to take Ramsey. Because of his size, he has the ability to also play safety in the NFL and it will be interesting to see where he ultimately sticks.

After the Jaguars acquired a great amount of young talent over recent drafts, the team has been taking strides. By drafting Ramsey, the Jaguars are putting the finishing touches on a rebuild that should begin to take off even more this season.
