4. Derek Holland-Texas Rangers (23.2%)

Injuries have plagued Derek Holland over the past several seasons, but he’s off to a strong start to his 2016 campaign, and he looks ready to contribute meaningful numbers for the Rangers this season as long as he can stay healthy.

Holland has been solid for the Rangers this season allowing just eight runs in 23 innings during his four starts and coming into tonight’s game with a 3.13 ERA and a 2-1 record.  He took the loss against the White Sox in his last start allowing three runs in 6.1 innings.  He starts tonight at home for just the second time this season, but over the last three years he has had a pretty late home-road split.

Tonight, Holland takes on the Angels as the Rangers look to make it two in a row over their division rivals after picking up a 4-2 win last night. LA will send Matt Shoemaker to the mound who has shown flashes of competence in the past but has struggled to start the season going 1-3 with a 6.87 ERA. Holland is a good pick if you need a W although he doesn’t have the strikeout potential of the top three options in my fantasy baseball streaming pitchers for today.
