High Salary SG

Klay Thompson-Golden State Warriors (8,200): Klay will play the leading role on offense while Curry is out for the first part of the series between the Warriors and Blazers.  Thompson had good numbers against the Blazers in the regular season averaging 29.25 points in his four games against them.  He played well against the Rockets in a matchup with the defensively-challenged James Harden posting at least 33 fantasy points in each of the last four games in the series. He has a size advantage over the Blazers backcourt  tandem and should be ready to post big numbers as the Warriors look to start Round 2 strong even without the MVP.

Dwyane Wade-Miami Heat (8,000): Wade had 46.5 fantasy points against the Hornets to force a Game 7 including some very-rare three-pointers on his way to 23 points, six rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and two steals in his 37 minutes.  He steps up when the games are the biggest, and they don’t get much bigger than Game 7 at home against the Hornets for a chance to move on to the second round.

C.J. McCollum-Portland Trail Blazers (6,800): McCollum started slow in Round 1 but scored at least 19 points in the last four games against the Clippers to help the Blazers win in six games. He had at least 27 fantasy points in each of the last five games in the series including two games over 40 fantasy points.  He’ll need to continue to produce big numbers if the Blazers want to challenge the Warriors in Round 2.  It’s not a great matchup for him, but McCollum has been defying the odds all season throughout his breakout campaign that led to him being named the NBA’s Most Improved Player.
