We have the full list of who the Houston Texans selected in the 2016 NFL Draft

Let’s take a look at who Houston Texans’ GM Rick Smith added to the the team through the 2016 NFL Draft.

Round 1 (21)- Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame

Round 2 (50)- Nick Martin, G, Notre Dame

Round 3 (85)- Braxton Miller, WR, Ohio State

Round 4 (119)- Tyler Ervin, RB, San Jose State

Round 5 (159) K.J. Dillon, S, West Virgina

Round 5 (166)- D.J. Reader, NT, Clemson

The Houston Texans did some serious shopping to upgrade their offense in the off-season, adding Brock Osweiler and Lamar Miller.  The Texans believed they didn’t advance in the playoffs because of their lack of offense and all the changes they made could help them become more explosive this year. Those offensive upgrades continued through the draft.

Fuller and Martin could both start Day one for the Texans. Fuller can be the guy opposite Deandre Hopkins who can blow the top off of defenses. Martin can come right in and protect Osweiler and start possibly at center with the loss of Chris Myers in free agency.

Bill O’Brien can get really creative with how he uses Braxton Miller. Coming from the Patriots system, O’Brien can put Miller in the slot and have him run routes like Julian Edelman or Wes Welker.

Ervin could be their third down back or kick returner, while Dillon and Reader can provide depth at their positions.

The Texans won the AFC South last year, and if all the new pieces they added can gel together quickly, it’s possible they could be right there again in 2016.
